Translate

ICI was designed by global partners with a goal that the ICI documents and materials could be used worldwide. We understand and respect how important it is to have information in your language and what a difference this makes, especially for those providing and those receiving maternity care. This is why we strive for cross-cultural conceptual equivalence rather than literal equivalence in our translations.

Our documents are free and available for translation by individuals and groups. We can support you by connecting you to others in your setting who are also ready to help. We are grateful to all those who have already put their time and effort into the translations into the 23 languages that we have already.

Our translation recommendations, suggestions and process can be found in the ICI translation policy.

Help us make the ICI documentation and learning and guidance materials available to health workers and communities in their own languages.
