Dr Ravi Chandran is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in active practice at the Gleneagles Medical Center in Kuala Lumpur and the president-elect of the International Federation of Gynecology & Obstetrics. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of O&G UK as well as the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and underwent subspeciality training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at King’s College Hospital London and the John Radcliffe Hospital at Oxford.
Dr Chandran is a past President of the Asia Oceania Federation of OBGYN and served as FIGO Regional Trustee for Asia Oceania from 2021-2023. He is also a member of the Expert Advisory Group for the FIGO-BMGF Leadership Development Initiative, and he is committed to leveraging his expertise and passion in governance and leadership, to empower and benefit women and girls in most need.
